MYPLAYERS: MOBILE APPLICATION TERMS OF USE

This is done through the various decision-making structures on which they serve. The organisation currently represents all the professional rugby players in South Africa.

The following terms and conditions govern the use of the MyPlayers Rugby (Pty) Ltd (“MyPlayers”) mobile application which is owned and operated by MyPlayers. By downloading and using the MyPlayers mobile application (“App”) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not use this App. MyPlayers reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, so please check them regularly.

You use the App entirely at your own risk and MyPlayers makes no warranty of any kind on the use or the content of this App which is provided “as is”. MyPlayers makes no guarantee that this App is free from bugs, errors, viruses or errors that may affect your computer MyPlayers makes no guarantee that all of the information is current on the date that you view it. MyPlayers is not responsible to you for any loss that you might suffer as a result of using this App. In particular, in no event shall MyPlayers be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages or losses, including loss of data, use or profits even if MyPlayers has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

MyPlayers will collect your Personal Data on this App which you consent to. Your Personal Data will be used for MyPlayers’s business purposes only. By submitting your Personal Data on the App, you agree that MyPlayers can process your Personal Data for the purposes you provided them. MyPlayers will keep and use your Personal Data (and any other information which it may hold about you from time to time) now and in the future (i) to provide you with information which may be of interest to you and (ii) for all other business purposes.

MyPlayers will share your Personal Data with other members of the MyPlayers group of companies and its Third Party Service Providers. By agreeing to this Policy, you consent to MyPlayers sharing your Personal Data, as aforesaid.

If you would prefer not to receive electronic communications from MyPlayers or its Third Party Service Providers, please inform MyPlayers that you wish to opt out of receiving such information.

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 you may apply to see what Personal Data MyPlayers, holds in respect of you. Please contact MyPlayers for further details as stated below.

MyPlayers will only store your Personal Data only for as long as required to fulfil the purpose for which you provided your Personal Data.

MyPlayers will take all technical and organizational security measures to ensure your Personal Data is kept securely to protect your Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and which provide a level of security appropriate to the risk represented by the processing and the nature of the Personal Data to be protected.

All Intellectual Property Rights relating to this App and its content are either the property of, or used with permission by, MyPlayers. You must not copy, publish or modify anything on the App or re-sell any of the information that you have viewed or printed from it without MyPlayers permission. You are granted the right only to view and/or use the App and print material from it for your personal use and/or for you to make informed decisions about MyPlayers’s products. The MyPlayers names, logos, product names, feature names, and slogans are trademarks owned by MyPlayers. All rights reserved.

You agree that the law of the Republic of South Africa governs your use of the App.The provisions set out in these terms and conditions apply to anyone who accesses this App regardless of their place of residence. Unless otherwise stated, these provisions apply to all information disclosed on the pages of the App.
